Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. is seeking a QA/QC Field Engineer to act as a technical liaison between the field, Project Management, Preconstruction, and remote support teams.

You will help set up QA/QC software and support data collection and commissioning activities. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or BS in Engineering/Construction Management, 4 years of related experience, and strong PC/MS Office skills with the ability to learn new software.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: 4 years of related experience or Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Management.
  • Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office Suite; able to learn project checklist software and issue management tools.
  • Knowledge of electrical terminology and components is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Leads training needs for technology tools, software applications, and SOPs.
  • Understands relational data sets for equipment and feeders and generates reports from such data.
  • Ensures detailed procedures and checklists document installation and energization to project requirements.
  • Assembles project information to document installation conformance to requirements and standards.
  • Collects data for KPI reporting and visual reporting; supports commissioning activities.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

The QA/QC Field Engineer is expected to attend regular project meetings, support the setup and maintenance of the QA/QC software(s), coordinate internally and with other contractors, and assist the Project Manager with tracking of status, labor, financials, and contract requirements. This role also supports the technical tools (i.e. iPads, QA/QC software), communicates project specifications needed, and any support details/drawings needed for QA/QC tasks (i.e. details of equipment layout, dimensions, equipment gear windows, RFI & Submittal updates) needed to keep the installation and QA/QC resources efficient.The ideal candidate must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, willing and able to learn project checklist and issue management software packages, and able to effectively communicate with a broad range of teams. Knowledge of electrical terminology and components is preferred.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSEducation: High School Diploma or GEDExperience: 4 years of related experienceorEducation: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction ManagementTravel: 0-100%Work Schedule: Schedule may vary and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays. Overtime may be required.
