FTI is seeking a QA Engineer 1 to lead QA/QC planning, documentation, and training on field projects. You will work with preconstruction and project managers to define QA/QC requirements and ensure installations meet electrical specifications and NEC codes.
Strong communication and hands-on field experience are essential. Ideal candidates have a BS in Electrical Engineering or related degree, with 5 years of field commissioning experience and proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation.

The QA Engineer 1 is responsible for the successful development, implementation, and coordination of project QA/QC plans and documents, as well as conducting on-site/job site training, coaching, and auditing of job site QA/QC activities. This work is completed under the general oversight of an upper level QA Engineer, and in coordination with the QA/QC Manager. Ideal candidates must be proficient in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, good interpersonal skills and effective oral and written communication skills are required, ability to understand one-lines, schematics & drawings is necessary, Knowledge of electrical terminology and components is necessary, and knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) is required.
Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering Technology Degree
or
Education: Associate of Applied Science Degree
Experience: 5 years of hands‐on field commissioning experience and a demonstrated aptitude for effective documentation
