Job summary

BN Associates Inc. invites a QA/QC Engineer to join onsite in Haskell, TX for a 6+ month engagement. The role ensures all materials, fabrication, testing, and commissioning meet project specs, codes, and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/manufacturing engineering or related field.
• CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI certification with proven welding inspection experience.
• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in semiconductor, wastewater treatment, construction, or EPC environments.
• Experience in piping, structural steel, pressure vessels fabrication and installation quality control.
• Familiarity with NDT methods (VT, PT, MT, RT, UT).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Proficient in MS Office and quality documentation management.

Responsibilities

• Attend project kick-off meetings and client meetings to review quality requirements and provide technical support.
• Prepare, review, and implement project quality documentation (ITPs, QCPs, WPS, PQR, WQT/WPQ, test procedures, MRB documents).
• Develop and maintain project quality plans per client specs and international standards.
• Coordinate inspections for incoming materials, fabrication, installation, welding, coating, testing, and final acceptance (FRP tanks, pumps, valves, etc.).
• Monitor subcontractors’ activities and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Review material certificates, test reports, calibration certificates, and QA records for compliance.
• Prepare NCRs, corrective/preventive actions, and root-cause analyses.
• Plan, assign and supervise QA/QC inspectors; provide training.
