Job summary

First Soft Solutions is seeking a QA/QC Engineer to ensure quality across materials, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning activities for wastewater treatment projects. You will develop quality documentation, conduct inspections, and coordinate with clients and third‑party inspectors to meet project requirements.

The role emphasizes ISO 9001 compliance, NCR management, and mentoring inspectors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of QA/QC experience in semiconductor, wastewater treatment, construction, or EPC project environments.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• Certified Welding Inspector qualification (CSWIP 3.1 or AWS CWI).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Familiarity with NDT methods (VT, PT, MT, RT, UT).

Responsibilities

• Attend project kick-off, pre-fabrication, pre-inspection, and client meetings to review quality requirements and provide technical support.
• Prepare, review, and implement ITPs, QCPs, Method Statements, WPS, PQR, WQT/WPQ, and other quality documents.
• Develop and maintain project quality plans per client specs and international standards.
• Coordinate inspections for materials, fabrication, installation, welding, coating, testing and final acceptance.
• Review material certificates, test reports, calibration certificates and quality records.
• Prepare and manage NCRs, corrective/preventive actions, and root-cause analyses.
• Plan, assign and supervise QA/QC inspectors’ workloads and provide training.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits; ensure ISO 9001 compliance.
• Participate in pre-line walks, hydro tests, pressure tests, leak tests and commissioning.
• Maintain proper documentation of inspection and testing records for clients.
