Job summary

Livefino is seeking a QA/QC Manager to ensure full implementation of the QMS across planning, fabrication, inspection, documentation, and operations. Qualifications

• Advanced ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, with all internal organization departments, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Strong coordination and organization skills, with strict emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
• 15+ years working experience as a professional engineer within the pressure equipment industry, with structural steel background beneficial.
• Advanced experience with local jurisdictional and regulatory authorities.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in understanding and performing quality inspection of pressure equipment in a plant or fabrication/repair organization.
• In-depth knowledge of API 510, 570, and 653 certifications and related NDE expectations.
• Advanced understanding of qualifying ASME WPS and welder/welding operator qualifications.
• Strong knowledge of AWS A3.0 Welding Terms and Definitions and welding inspection and NDE methods (MT, PT, UT, RT).
• Experience with corrosion monitoring and FFS analysis of pressure equipment.
• Ability to manage project QA/QC budgets and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specs, and QMS requirements.
• Advance quality achievement and performance improvement across the organization.
• Develop and implement QMS for planning, fabrication, inspection, documentation, and operations activities.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to all QA/QC personnel.
• Oversee hold-point releases after QMS completion and equipment readiness.
• Develop RBI activities and processes using API 580 and similar programs.
• Manage plant integrity through failure analysis reporting and follow-up on recommendations.
• Supervise all visual inspections and NDE, including 3rd party subcontractors.
• Manage inspection, NDE, and testing plans for new construction, repair work, and alterations.
• Identify and develop solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies.
• Manage QA/QC budgets and ensure compliance with codes and regulations.
