Job summary

MCPHS School of Professional Studies seeks adjunct instructors to deliver in-person 8-week noncredit training at the Worcester campus for the MBI workforce initiative. You will teach resume and interview skills, LinkedIn optimization, and interview techniques to nontraditional adult learners aiming for entry-level lab administration roles.

Sessions include mock interviews, guest speaker contributions, and development of course content with ongoing assessments.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Experience teaching and/or developing in-person training.
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Commitment to student success and ability to engage/motivate students in online and in-person formats.
Comfort with ambiguity and problem-solving when launching a new initiative.

Responsibilities

Teach on-site in Worcester two days a week for 3-hour blocks.
Deliver hands-on sessions covering resume, cover letters, LinkedIn, and interview techniques.
Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to help students present themselves to employers.
Develop and curate content (assignments, presentations, readings, discussions, quizzes, exams).
Create effective assessments across formats and provide feedback on professional skills.
