Job summary

Sargent & Greenleaf in Nicholasville, KY is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA/QC in manufacturing. You will manage the QMS, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Customer Service to resolve quality concerns.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, 5+ years of quality leadership in manufacturing, strong analytical and auditing skills, and experience with ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.
• ASQ certifications such as Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all quality assurance and quality control activities within the manufacturing operation.
• Manage and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with company and customer requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality standards, procedures, and work instructions.
• Analyze quality metrics and performance data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Lead internal audits, supplier quality initiatives, and corrective/preventive action programs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to resolve quality concerns and improve processes.
• Drive continuous improvement projects focused on reducing defects, improving efficiency, and increasing customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and lead quality team members to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
