Job summary

Sargent & Greenleaf, a trusted manufacturer in Nicholasville, KY, seeks a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA/QC across the plant. You will drive QMS compliance, standard development, and data-driven improvements while coordinating with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain to meet quality and customer satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology or related field.
• 5+ years in progressive quality management in manufacturing.
• Strong auditing, QC/QA knowledge, and statistical analysis.
• Experience with 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone or similar root-cause methods.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all QA and QC activities within manufacturing operations.
• Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) per requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality standards, procedures, and work instructions.
• Analyze quality metrics to identify trends and drive improvements.
• Lead internal audits, supplier quality initiatives, and CAPA programs.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce defects and improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Manage customer quality issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Recruit, develop, and coach quality team members to meet objectives.
