Job summary

RTP Company, headquartered in Winona, Minnesota, is a global compounder of custom engineered thermoplastics. The company has over 20 manufacturing plants located in the United States, Mexico, Europe, Singapore and China.

RTP Company’s engineers develop customized thermoplastic compounds in over 60 different engineering resin systems for applications requiring color, conductive, elastomeric, flame retardant, high temperature, structural, and wear-resistant properties.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science; related education/experience accepted.
ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949:2016 lead auditor certification required.

Responsibilities

Ensure quality objectives: on-time shipment, conforming product, and customer satisfaction.
Develop and maintain site quality management system (ISO 9001:2015 & IATF 16949:2016).
Lead audits with customers and 3rd parties; host visits as needed.
Support all areas related to the site quality system.
Perform internal and external quality system audits as assigned.
Develop QA lab knowledge and train lab staff.
Coordinate lab system improvements and audits; review specifications.
Attend staff meetings; manage time sheets and overtime.
Travel as required for audits and inspections.
