RTP Company’s engineers develop customized thermoplastic compounds in over 60 different engineering resin systems for applications requiring color, conductive, elastomeric, flame retardant, high temperature, structural, and wear-resistant properties.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in maintenance or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of experience as a Maintenance Technician preferred.
• Plastic extrusion experience preferred.
• Forklift and Scissor lift maintenance experience preferred.
• Basic electrical knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes routine repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshoots maintenance issues on standardized equipment.
• Responds to production requests for immediate attention to production line breakdowns.
• Assists in maintaining the organization of the maintenance shop and adequate parts inventory.
• Documents work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc.
• Communicates and collaborates with other departments regarding the status of maintenance projects and needs.
• Participates in training, retraining, and continual improvement processes and methods.
• Ensures plant is maintained and in accordance with housekeeping policies and guidelines.
• Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations.
