Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Manager at Fort Meade, MD to lead the program's Quality Management System and ensure compliance across complex IT deployments for the DISA-supported enterprise. The role requires tracking SLA performance, directing audits, and guiding CAPA/RCA processes with senior leadership and government CORs.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience in IT quality assurance, process governance, systems engineering, or contract compliance.
• Five (5) years of experience in a dedicated QA role, with at least three (3) years as a specialist or technical lead overseeing a QMS.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Quality Management, Information Technology (IT), Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience establishing and maintaining process-focused QA frameworks based on ISO 9001, CMMI, or ITIL.
• Experience tracking, analyzing, and reporting SLA performance metrics and KPIs to senior leadership and government clients.
• Direct experience interfacing with Government representatives (CORs, QARs) to deliver formal Quality Reports.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Quality Management System (QMS).
• Manage day-to-day QA activities across the team, setting priorities and standards.
• Define the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP) and SOPs for deployment, operation, and maintenance.
• Lead audits, spot checks, and reviews to ensure adherence to program standards.
• Create and standardize QC procedures for change management, security compliance, and deployments.
• Track and report SLA performance metrics, trends, and KPIs to leadership.
• Coordinate Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and root cause analyses with project teams.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly Quality Reports for government COR and program leadership.
• Drive CPI initiatives to identify bottlenecks and standardize processes.
• Establish responsibility matrices for quality gates and train personnel.
