Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, is seeking a quality-focused lab technician to monitor and document QC procedures. You will perform laboratory tests, sieve analyses, moisture content checks, and color matching, ensuring products meet weight and specification standards.

Responsibilities include data entry in Excel, reviewing batch tickets, and supporting internal and external audits. A high school diploma or GED and familiarity with lab equipment are required, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent Vocational Training/Certification, or related experience.
• Familiar with lab equipment and ASTM standards for manufactured concrete products.
• Ability to record, evaluate, and report data in spreadsheets; strong numerical skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory testing and documents results as required.
• Conducts sieve analysis on aggregates and related products.
• Performs moisture content analysis and color matching by wet method.
• Maintains data in Excel and reviews batch tickets for weight compliance.
• Notifies Plant Manager of non-conforming products; supports audits.
