Job summary

Richardson International is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Lab Technician for its Carrington, ND durum milling and pasta production facility. The role focuses on testing samples to ensure quality, safety, and specification compliance, while auditing production and packaging for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Test samples to ensure product quality, safety, and specification compliance
• Audit production and packaging for accuracy in shapes, specifications, storage, packaging, labeling and coding
• Identify and manage non-conforming products and food safety hazards, ensuring issues are investigated and recommending solutions
• Maintain records, documentation, and retention samples
• Proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities

Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a Quality Assurance (QA) Lab Technician at our Carrington, ND durum milling and pasta production facility, where we produce Dakota Growers pasta.

Responsibilities:

• Test samples to ensure product quality, safety, and specification compliance
• Audit production and packaging for accuracy in shapes, specifications, storage, packaging, labeling and coding
• Identify and manage non-conforming products and food safety hazards, ensuring issues are investigated and recommending solutions
• Maintain records, documentation, and retention samples
• Proactively identify and execute on continuous improvement opportunities

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in food related field (Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, etc.)
• Experience in quality assurance testing

Physical Requirements:

Qualified candidates must be able to perform the following physical job requirements, with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Work in dusty, high heat/humidity environment
