Job summary

Accredo Packaging, Inc. in Sugar Land, TX is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily QA laboratory activities for packaging materials.

You will ensure timely analytical evaluations and maintain compliance with ASTM and internal test methods while supporting production and R&D initiatives. Lead QA Lab Technicians on shift, manage training, safety, and performance; coordinate COA preparation and investigations of quality issues; ensure non-conforming products are documented and addressed;

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical or scientific field is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in a technical laboratory role preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience in a lab environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA Lab Technicians on shift; hire, train, schedule, and evaluate performance.
• Ensure training on procedures, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Investigate quality issues in production and customer complaints; document findings and actions.
• Oversee COA preparation for customers and internal use.
• Maintain non-conforming product documentation and corrective actions.
• Coordinate quality communications to meet operational needs.
• Support R&D activities and develop test protocols as needed.
• Review product specs, test protocols, and testing frequencies for compliance.
• Maintain lab equipment, supplies, and clean work areas.
