BSK Associates is seeking an enthusiastic Supervisor to lead our laboratory team in California. The role focuses on directing daily activities, ensuring quality results, and meeting client requirements within holding times and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have a chemistry-related degree and at least five years in a supervisory laboratory role, with responsibilities spanning training, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance with technical services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related science.
• 5 years of applicable experience.
• Supervisory role in a lab environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff day-to-day activities.
• Ensure SOPs and safety procedures followed.
• Coordinate department staffing with leads.
• Maintain production schedules and QA data.
• Train staff on duties and tasks.
• Review timecards and approve schedules.
• Assist in staff career development.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to maintain certifications.
• Maintain equipment maintenance logs.
• Address staff morale issues as needed.
