Job summary

JBS USA is offering a 10-week QA Summer Internship designed to identify operational gaps and improve process efficiency in the production environment. You will learn GMP, SSOP and HACCP protocols while working with the QA team and attending USDA meetings.

Interns gain exposure to multiple areas of the business, receive mentorship, and may explore a future career path within the global food supply chain. Relocation support is provided and a competitive hourly wage is offered.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a four-year university or pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge of GMP, SSOP and HACCP protocols.
• Learn food safety testing procedures and QA practices.
• Sit in on food safety and USDA meetings.
• Shadow the QA team to understand roles and processes.
• Complete and present a QA-related project with guidance from FSQA and Operations teams.
