Job summary

Textron Aviation is offering a Summer Internship to develop data/metric analysis skills and drive value through process improvements. You’ll work across functions on real projects, progressively applying standard methods and tools, while learning to optimize production and capacity planning.

The program emphasizes mentorship, hands-on experience, and exposure to cross-functional teams, with a prepaid stipend and potential development opportunities toward a full-time career.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor of Science in one of the listed engineering fields.
• Strong communication, analytical and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely metrics to Plant Managers and Director.
• Identify production flow issues and assist in solving them.
• Create and deliver KPIs such as Efficiency, DCI & Overtime.
• Assist with SAP Capacity Planning configurations.
• Support cost development modeling and data analysis.
• Value stream mapping and analyzing process improvements.
• Assist in work center configuration settings for SAP Capacity Planning.
• Support in gathering data for continuous improvement initiatives.
