Job summary

VEKA is seeking a Quality Inspector to support our manufacturing operations in Reno, NV. You will inspect extrusions for dimensional accuracy, color, surface, and go/no-go gauge results, and guide decisions on acceptance or rejection.

Work with cross-functional teams to document results, maintain VEKA quality standards, and perform regular data collection, testing per AAMA 303 and internal procedures, with a focus on precision and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Science or Engineering or 3+ years quality experience.
• Strong communication and data collection ability.
• Experience with measurement devices and testing.

Responsibilities

• Inspect quality including dimensional, surface, color, and go gauge tests.
• Guide acceptance or rejection decisions based on inspections.
• Notify extrusion teams of substandard results and drive improvements.
• Collect data and monitor samples per VEKA standards.
• Support tooling maintenance requests and document results.
• Perform testing and document results per standards.
