Job summary

VEKA is seeking a Quality Inspector to oversee dimensional, color, and surface testing of extruded products. The role includes guiding acceptance decisions, collecting data, and coordinating with the extrusion team to improve processes.

Candidates should have an associate degree in science/engineering or 3+ years quality experience. Strong communication, attention to detail, and proficiency with Excel are essential.

• Associate degree in science or engineering or 3+ years quality experience.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency with Excel/MS Office.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy and precision.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspection including 3-Tier Dimensional, Length, Surface, Go Gauge Fit, Color, Bow, and Impact Testing.
• Guide acceptance and reject decisions.
• Notify extrusion teams of substandard results and work with cross-functional teams to improve production.
• Collect data and monitor samples according to VEKA standards.
• Evaluate extruded products to assist in developing Tooling Maintenance Requests (TMR).
• Perform all AAMA 303 testing and document results.
• Other duties as assigned.
