Job summary

VEKA is seeking a Quality Inspector in Morganton, NC to ensure conformance of extruded products with VEKA standards. You will guide acceptance decisions and coordinate with extrusion teams to drive process improvements.

Responsibilities include data collection, sample monitoring, and performing AAMA 303 testing with precise documentation. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with measurement devices (calipers, gauges) preferred.
• Ability to communicate issues across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect quality per VEKA standards (3-Tier Dimensional, Length, Surface, Go Gauge, Fit, Color, Bow, Impact).
• Guide acceptance and rejection decisions.
• Notify extrusion teams of substandard results and work with cross-functional teams to improve processes.
• Collect data and monitor samples according to VEKA standards.
• Evaluate extruded products to assist in developing Tooling Maintenance Requests (TMR).
• Perform AAMA 303 testing and document results.
• All other duties as assigned.
