Job summary

TEAM is seeking a full-time inspector to ensure conformance to product requirements through hands-on inspection and documentation. The role covers inspection of work-in-process and finished goods, with emphasis on safety and quality compliance.

You will be proficient with mechanical inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, go/no go gauges) and must be able to complete all required reports. Shifts include Day 5:45am–4:15pm and Night 7:45pm–6:15am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be detail oriented, with the ability to recognize defects and non-conformities

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment and follow all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
• Perform inspections per inspection reports
• May conduct audits of finished goods material per inspection reports
• May perform sort and rework functions as directed
• Proficient in the use of mechanical inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, go/no go gauges, and other mechanical inspection equipment
• Accurately complete reports and all necessary paperwork for the jobs
• Ability to regularly meet or exceed efficiency requirements
• Actively participates in CIP events to improve safety, quality, and efficiencies of current processes and procedures
• Support and positively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
• Communicates with supervisor and co-workers in a professional manner
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Shifts

Day Shift-5:45am-4:15pm

Night Shift-7:45pm-6:15am

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Physical Demands

• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 lbs, rarely lifting up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand up to 100% of shift
• Ability to do repetitive movements (i.e. bending, twisting, walking, climbing stairs)
