RBC Bearings Plymouth plant is seeking an inspector to verify conformance of parts to work orders and drawings. You will set up gauges, perform dimensional checks, and conduct roundness and hardness tests on components, ensuring accurate measurements and documentation.

The role requires careful handling of measurement tools, use of electronic gauges, and accurate recording of results for quality records. On-site duties include material handling and packaging prep as part of daily workflow.

Qualifikationen

• Inspect product for conformance to work orders and specifications.
• Perform dimensional checks on sample audits.
• Set up gauges to determine diameter and length.
• Change master pin in gauge per part dimensions.
• Conduct roundness testing with electronic gauge.
• Measure end squareness with manual gauge.
• Obtain hardness measurements using Rockwell tester.
• Measure surface finish with electronic gauge.
• Operate electronic gauge and other gauging equipment.
• Use Rondcom 41C for roundness inspection.

• Places inspected parts in barrel or jugs; places jugs in boxes.
• Uses stapler to make boxes.
• Uses scales to weigh product.
• Maintains supplies such as jugs, skids, lids, etc.
• Uses forklift, pallet jack and/or barrel carts.
• Maintains all paperwork involved with job requirements.
