• Record daily activities and test products to verify functionality and durability.
• Maintain calibration and proper use of gauges and inspection tools.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Expertly use GD&T and operate CMM and inspection software.
• Ensure accuracy in First Part Inspections, assisting CNC Operators in the inspection process to validate product readiness for production.
• Identify and report any operational issues, irregularities and "bad parts" or discrepancies to leadership, promptly.
• Expertly operate CMM, Comparators, and Vision systems to perform precise quality inspections with tight tolerances.
• Utilize current software to create and manage detailed inspection reports from CMM, Vision systems and Comparators accurately.
• Conduct thorough Inspections of materials, components, and finished products using various Inspection tools.
• Record daily activities.
• Perform tests on products to assess their functionality and durability in accordance with industry standards.
• Expertly operate & calibrate all gauges used on inspection granite (i.e. Concentricity Gauge, Height Gauge, Blocks, Sine Plate and Dial Indicators).
• Perform final inspections to verify that completed products comply with quality benchmarks and client specifications.
• Use various QC Inspection Tools, such as Calipers, Micrometers and Comparators to measure dimensions and tolerances.
• Generate and maintain records of first article inspections and other quality metrics for review by leadership.
• Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by your supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Perform duties and tasks while following all safety protocols.
• Work & communicate with other members of the QC Team to identify trends in defects and recommend improvements in processes and materials.
