Job summary

VEKA - North America is seeking a Quality Inspector to oversee all quality inspections and guide acceptance decisions for extruded products. You will collect data, monitor samples, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements according to VEKA Standards.

The role involves performing AAMA 303 testing and documenting results, with responsibilities spanning from dimensional checks to maintaining accuracy and precision under production pressure.

Qualifications

• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of using measuring devices such as Datacolor, Ascona/Promex Profile Measurement, Calipers, Loupe Magnifiers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all quality inspection and checks including 3-Tier Dimensional, Length, Surface, Go Gauge Fit, Color, Bow, and Impact Tear.
• Guiding accept and reject decisions.
• Notifies extrusion teams of substandard production results and works with cross-functional teams to improve the production process.
• Collecting data and monitoring samples according to VEKA Standards.
• Evaluates extruded products to assist in developing Tooling Maintenance Requests (TMR).
• Performs AAMA 303 testing and document testing results.
• All other duties as assigned
