Job summary

J B Industrial Company in Lubbock, TX is seeking a detail-oriented material handling and QA support associate to prepare products for inspection and maintain documentation for traceability.

You will coordinate with receiving, QA and shop teams to ensure timely inspection, stage parts for QA, and manage records in ERP and MS Office. Forklift operations and adherence to ISO 9001 documentation requirements are involved.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read basic blueprints and locate part numbers, revisions, notes and dimensions.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with WH/receiving and shop to ensure timely delivery of parts to inspections.
• Stage pallets, crates and parts for inspection using forklift, pallet jack or by hand.
• Prepare inspection packets including drawings, specs and previous records.
• Create inspection reports and enter data into ERP systems.
• Maintain quality records and document control procedures.
• Support RMAs, DMRs and CAPA activities as directed.
• Assist in gage room maintenance and calibration tracking.
