Job summary

Black Box in Abilene, TX seeks a Quality Assurance professional to drive the QMS, perform WIP inspections, and lead continuous improvement on data-center projects. You will collaborate with field staff and program representatives to ensure installation standards are met, with strong communication and problem-solving skills expected; travel may be required.

Experience in infrastructure deployment and lean practices is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in infrastructure deployment or data-center cabling.
• Strong communication and coaching skills.
• Experience implementing and monitoring a Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

• Drive the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with installation standards.
• Perform timely WIP quality inspections based on production status and risk.
• Record, monitor, and close nonconformances; participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Lead structured problem solving and lessons learned to scale best practices.
