Qualifications

• 2–4 years of testing experience with 1–2 years automation testing experience
• Proficiency in Java programming language
• Strong requirement analysis
• Experience with automation testing tools (Selenium, Karate, JUnit, TestNG) and debugging
• Experience using Git for version control
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber)
• Familiarity with SQL and database testing
• Experience in UI/API functional testing
• Experience with JIRA and Zephyr management tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field preferred
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• CI tools (e.g., Jenkins) a plus
• Willingness to learn new technologies

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test scripts
• Execute automated tests and report results
• Identify, document and track defects using JIRA
• Provide clear test case and defect documentation
• Collaborate with software engineering to understand functionality and testing needs
• Maintain and update automated tests to reflect changes
• Follow and improve automation best practices
• Mentor associate automation quality engineers
• May perform manual testing when needed
