Job summary

Espace is seeking a Mission Operations Engineer in Saratoga, CA. This role involves leading testing efforts for the Mission Ops program, particularly in quality assurance and test engineering.

The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years in system performance or quality assurance and experience automating testing with Python and C++. Candidates should be familiar with Agile methodologies and be ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in system performance and/or quality assurance engineering.
• At least 3 years’ experience leading groups in a quality assurance role.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of automation.
• Hands-on experience with automating testing and leading test projects.
• Experience with multiple LEO satellite programs is a plus.
• Experience with Agile / Scrum development.
• Expertise with Python, C++ for testing and automation.
• Familiar with Linux and Windows Operating Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Test and Integration team.
• Write test plans and test cases.
• Create a Requirements Traceability Matrix.
• Perform testing in lab environments.
• Verify and validate all product releases.
• Provide final sign off for the Mission Ops Software.
