Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Mooresville, NC, is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the quality and performance of Lowe's Private Brands and select National Brands. The role supports new product introductions, enforces QA testing programs, and drives supplier quality oversight for existing items.

Work closely with Global QA, Global Merchandising, internal testing teams, and vendor partners to execute Lowe’s QA program requirements and deliver best-in-class products to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3 years as an engineer in design, manufacturing, or retail environment.
• 2 years using APQP, EDCR, DFMEA, DMAIC, and Lean processes.
• Experience writing technical reports and communicating effectively.
• Demonstrated experience leading and/or facilitating projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide QA support for Global Merchandising product development projects, Product Line Reviews, and both private and national brand initiatives.
• Manage product and quality engineering activities for new and existing products as well as vendor partners.
• Assess project scope and recommend appropriate QA methodologies, including stage-gate processes, APQP workbooks, and other documentation.
• Ensure clear communication, strong follow-through, and on-time delivery of project plans.
• Apply QA procedures, systems, and tools to manage projects, testing programs, and supplier quality.
• Lead efforts to enhance customer satisfaction, product quality, and process improvements using VOC data and QA metrics.
