Job summary

Lowe’s in Mooresville, NC seeks a Sr Analyst-Product Compliance to execute key activities that support Lowe’s product compliance programs, helping to protect customers, the business, and the brand from regulatory and safety risks.

You will partner with Merchandising, Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Legal, Sustainability, and vendors, providing detailed analysis, reporting and operational support to advance Lowe’s compliance strategy and ensure products meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years in product safety, regulatory compliance, quality, or related field in retail or manufacturing.
• 2+ years of experience with North American product regulations (CPSC, EPA, FDA) including state laws.
• 2+ years of leading or facilitating cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Execute processes that mitigate product compliance risks and meet company standards.
• Prepare and deliver compliance reports for state and federal obligations.
• Administer vendor compliance programs including Conflict Minerals, Wood Sourcing, and Mercury surveys.
• Monitor emerging regulations with Legal and cross-functional teams to implement controls.
• Communicate regulatory updates to stakeholders across the organization.
• Execute regulatory stop-sales for in-scope items and guide process requirements with Merchandising and Legal.
• Collaborate with QA Engineering and approved labs to address testing requirements.
• Develop solutions for upcoming regulations where current protocols are insufficient.
• Collaborate with Legal, QA, Merchandising, Sourcing, and vendors to complete compliance activities.
• Engage regulators on notices of violation and coordinate with vendors on fines and corrective actions.
• Benchmark practices through associations such as ICPHSO and RILA.
• Document policies and procedures supporting compliance programs.
• Provide training to internal stakeholders on best practices and build a culture of compliance.
• Collaborate with technology partners to develop, test, and launch systems that improve compliance processes.
