Job summary

Groupe Kardol is seeking a QA Engineer specializing in POS and payments to support quality assurance for enterprise retail applications and transaction-processing systems in the Cincinnati area. The role focuses on functional, regression, API, and integration testing across end-to-end workflows, with preferred experience in POS/payments environments.

This contract position runs for 12 months, starting ASAP, with a rate of $52–$57 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA for enterprise applications and transaction-processing systems.
• Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing.
• Hands-on API and integration testing experience.
• Ability to design and execute test cases for end-to-end business workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional and regression testing across POS applications and store workflows.
• Validate end-to-end payment and transaction scenarios.
• Perform API and integration testing.
• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases for new features and enhancements.
• Identify, reproduce, and track defects; participate in triage and root-cause analysis.
• Validate defect fixes and perform regression testing; support release readiness and production validation.
• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA resources; contribute to test strategy and QA execution.
• Assist with test automation initiatives where applicable.
