Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an Experienced QA Engineer specializing in Point-of-Sale and payment systems testing in Bellevue, WA. You will validate end-to-end workflows across POS apps, payment gateways, APIs, and backend services, and design automation frameworks to improve efficiency.

You will collaborate with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery in a fast-paced retail environment, following agile practices and thorough test documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience, focusing on POS and payment systems.
• Experience testing across POS platforms, APIs, and backend services.
• Hands-on API testing with Postman, including scripting and validation.
• Strong log analysis with Splunk and Datadog for troubleshooting and monitoring.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and common dev tools (Docker, GitHub, Jenkins, IDEs).
• Ability to create comprehensive test plans and maintain detailed documentation.
• Collaborative, agile team player with strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end testing of POS and payment systems across frontend, API, and backend layers.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated UI and API test frameworks.
• Create, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
• Identify, document, and communicate defects, risks, and results clearly.
• Develop utilities and scripts to automate repetitive QA tasks.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and cross-functional teams to validate fixes and ensure quality.
