Job summary

Paysign, Inc. is seeking a QA Engineer to own the quality of our payment processing and healthcare platform releases. The role blends manual testing with test automation across web, mobile, API, and data layers.

You will integrate automated checks into CI/CD, work with developers and data engineers, and ensure test data handling meets PCI-DSS and CDE requirements. Responsibilities include test planning, manual and automated testing, data validation, and release testing across dev/stage/prod

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years in software quality assurance (manual and automation).
Hands-on automated tests for APIs/UI with modern tools.
Experience testing REST APIs and web/mobile apps.
Solid SDLC, testing methods, and defect lifecycle understanding.
Experience integrating tests into CI/CD (GitLab or similar).
Proficient with Jira or similar defect/test management tool.

Responsibilities

Design comprehensive test plans, cases, and data for QA activities across web, mobile, API, and data layers.
Execute manual functional, regression, exploratory, and UAT testing; validate edge cases.
Build and maintain automated test suites; ensure deterministic results.
Implement data-driven and contract testing for service interfaces.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD and gate deployments based on results.
Coordinate release cycles with developers and DevOps; assist rollback verification.
Ensure PCI-DSS/CDE compliant test data and governance; log defects in Jira.
