Job summary

Alliance Premier, an insurance-solutions company in Omaha, NE, seeks a QA Engineer to join our team. You will design, execute, and maintain test plans, both manual and automated, using Selenium and JIRA, to ensure high-quality software tailored to the insurance industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of software QA experience, ideally with insurance software or similar domain.
• Experience with Selenium, JIRA, and TestRail.
• Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the quality of our insurance software.
• Conduct manual and automated testing to identify and report bugs and defects.
• Work closely with developers to understand requirements and ensure they are accurately implemented.
• Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, scripts, and reports.
• Collaborate with the product management team to prioritize and address quality issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software quality assurance.
• Mentor and train junior QA team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
