Job summary

Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is seeking a Quality Engineering Analyst to join our IT team across Canton, MA; Boston, MA; Farmington, CT; and Raleigh, NC on a hybrid schedule. The role requires 3–5 years in QE and test automation, with a focus on AI-driven testing approaches and API/web testing.

You will maintain test frameworks, contribute to CI/CD, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve test coverage and quality.

Qualifications

3–5 years of hands-on QE / test automation experience.
Familiarity with Property/Casualty or Specialty insurance preferred.
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or similar.
Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, test design techniques, and SDLC/STLC.
Experience testing web applications and APIs (REST, JSON, Postman).
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Interest in AI-powered testing tools and approaches.
SQL knowledge.

Responsibilities

Maintain manual and automated test frameworks for web and API apps.
Participate in test planning, estimation, and release activities.
Execute and enhance functional, regression, integration, and smoke tests.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies early in SDLC.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML-based testing tools.
