Job summary

Riot Games in Los Angeles is seeking a QA Engineer II to own the quality of Organized Play features and related backend services. You will design test strategies, lead defect triage, and guide remote testing groups to ensure high-quality, stable competitive experiences before code hits production.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Software Quality Assurance experience leading testing efforts.
• Proven defect tracking ownership using Jira with triage and trend reporting.
• Experience directing remote or vendor testing resources.
• Embedded Agile experience within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to analyze quality metrics and test data for executive insight.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality for Organized Play systems and backend services.
• Design and maintain scalable test plans across whitebox and blackbox testing.
• Lead defect triage and report quality trends to leadership.
• Partner early with engineers and UI/UX to improve testability and UX.
• Coordinate remote QA testers to ensure coverage and standards.
• Mentor junior testers and uplift quality practices across the team.
