Job summary

UDR, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer II to help ensure our software products are functional and reliable, with exposure to Snowflake, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and test automation.

This role will involve designing and executing SQL queries, API testing with Postman, and developing automated scripts using Playwright, UiPath, and other frameworks, in a hybrid role based in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IS/CS/Tech Management or related field.
• 4–5 years of related QA experience required.
• Experience in real estate/hospitality industry preferred.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Strong MS Excel and SQL skills; data platform experience with Snowflake required.
• Experience with test automation frameworks (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium) required.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools recommended.

Responsibilities

• Understand business problems and translate into test requirements.
• Develop procedures and test features; specify data requirements for scenarios.
• Record test outcomes in Zephyr with evidence.
• Create and manage software bugs with steps and evidence.
• Present findings to the project team with recommended actions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, analysts, and vendors.
• Design and execute SQL queries to validate backend data in Snowflake.
• Validate data movement across ETL/ELT pipelines to Snowflake.
• Perform API testing using Postman and confirm REST/JSON schemas.
• Develop and execute test plans, cases, and scripts for backend validation.
• Build complex test plans with minimal supervision.
• Develop automated test scripts using Playwright to expand regression coverage.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate test data pipelines and scripts.
• Participate in grooming sessions and define acceptance criteria.
• Develop test strategies using UiPath to optimize processes.
• Identify and remediate project blockers and testing risks.
• Identify key testing scenarios for regression planning.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
