Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer I – Digital Platforms to support the delivery of high-quality digital experiences across customer-facing applications in Milwaukee. You will partner with developers, product owners, business analysts, and fellow QA engineers to learn systems, understand business processes, and contribute to quality throughout the SDLC.

You will execute testing activities, identify defects, and help ensure reliable digital experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 0-3 years of QA or software testing experience.
• Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
• Desire to learn new technologies and processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies preferred.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies, APIs, or test automation concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web and API-based applications.
• Develop understanding of Milwaukee Tool's digital platforms and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and track defects; communicate findings to development teams.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Create and maintain test cases, data, and QA documentation.
• Assist with validation of website content, product information, and customer-facing functionality.
• Learn and apply quality engineering best practices and automation tools.
• Support user acceptance testing and release validation activities.
• Communicate testing status, risks, and issues clearly to the team.
• Expand knowledge of applications and technologies used within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
