Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a QA Engineer I for Digital Platforms to help deliver high-quality customer-facing experiences across MilwaukeeTool.com and API-backed platforms. You will work with developers, product owners, and QA peers to learn systems, craft test cases, and ensure reliability and usability.

You will perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing, contribute to backlog grooming, and participate in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IT/Engineering.
• 0-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies preferred.
• Exposure to API testing is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies, APIs, or test automation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web and API-based applications.
• Develop understanding of Milwaukee Tool's digital platforms and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and track defects; communicate findings to development teams.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Create and maintain test cases, test data, and QA documentation.
• Assist with validation of website content, product information, and customer-facing functionality.
• Learn and apply QA best practices, testing methodologies, and automation tools.
• Support user acceptance testing and release validation activities.
• Communicate testing status, risks, and issues clearly to team members and stakeholders.
• Continuously expand knowledge of applications, systems, and technologies.
