Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a QA Engineer I – Digital Platforms to support delivery of high-quality digital experiences across MilwaukeeTool.com and related APIs. You will work with developers, product owners, and QA engineers to learn systems, execute testing, and ensure reliable customer-facing functionality.

You will participate in Agile ceremonies, help maintain test artifacts, and contribute to validation efforts across the SDLC while expanding your knowledge of platforms and tools used by

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • A desire to learn new technologies, systems, and business processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of web technologies, APIs, or test automation concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web and API-based applications.
  • Develop an understanding of Milwaukee Tool's digital platforms, processes, and customer experiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and communicate findings to development teams.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Create and maintain test cases, test data, and QA documentation.
  • Assist with validation of website content, product information, and customer-facing functionality.
  • Learn and apply quality engineering best practices, testing methodologies, and automation tools.
  • Support user acceptance testing and release validation activities.
  • Communicate testing status, risks, and issues to team members and stakeholders.
  • Expand technical knowledge of applications, systems, and technologies used within the organization.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Job Description: As a QA Engineer I – Digital Platforms, you will support the delivery of high-quality digital experiences across Milwaukee Tool's customer-facing applications, including MilwaukeeTool.com, Commercial Products API, PACKOUT™ Builder, and Custom PPE solutions. In this role, you will partner closely with developers, product owners, business analysts, and fellow QA engineers to learn our systems, understand business processes, and contribute to quality throughout the software development lifecycle. You will execute testing activities, identify defects, and help ensure customers receive reliable and intuitive digital experiences.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
