Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a QA Engineer I to support testing across Milwaukee Tool's digital platforms, including MilwaukeeTool.com and API services. You will work with developers, product owners, and QA peers to learn the systems, understand requirements, and ensure high-quality digital experiences.

Responsibilities include executing diverse tests, documenting defects, and aiding in backlog refinement and release validation. A strong foundation in QA, communication, and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
0–2 years in Quality Assurance or software testing.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Strong verbal and written communication.
Familiarity with web technologies and APIs.
Interest in automation concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web and API-based apps.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
Identify, document, and track defects; communicate findings to developers.
Participate in backlog refinement and sprint ceremonies.
Support user acceptance testing and release validation.
Create and maintain test cases, data, and QA documentation.
Learn and apply quality engineering best practices and automation concepts.
