Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a QA Engineer I – Digital Platforms to support high‑quality digital experiences across MilwaukeeTool.com, APIs, PACKOUT Builder, and PPE solutions. You will partner with developers, product owners, and QA peers to learn our systems and drive quality throughout the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities include functional, regression, and exploratory testing, creating test data and cases, tracking defects, and participating in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or related field.
• Basic understanding of software development and testing concepts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies, APIs, or test automation concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web and API-based applications.
• Develop understanding of Milwaukee Tool's digital platforms and customer experiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and track defects and communicate findings to development teams.
• Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Create and maintain test cases, test data, and QA documentation.
• Assist with validation of website content, product information and customer-facing functionality.
• Learn and apply quality engineering best practices and automation concepts.
• Support user acceptance testing and release validation activities.
