Job summary

S&P Global Ratings is seeking a QA Engineer to join the Ratings Technology QA team in NYC (Water Street 55) or Princeton, NJ on a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite). You will test across Web/Windows/API platforms, build automated solutions, and help reduce time to market while ensuring top quality.

You will collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to design test plans, lead testing activities, and apply performance and data testing using SQL, REST/SOAP, and automation tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software testing or development experience with testing, coding and debugging procedures.
• Experience in programming using Python/Java or other languages.
• Experience in automated tests using Selenium, Appium across UI/Service/Data layers and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios.
• Design and develop test plans and cases from specifications, execute and report results.
• Lead testing efforts and coordinate with developers to meet deadlines with required quality.
