Job summary

SPGI is seeking a QA Engineer to join Ratings Technology. You will build test automation for Web, Windows and API platforms, design test plans, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

You will work in a hybrid setup across Water Street NYC or Princeton, NJ, contributing to data quality testing, performance testing, and automation strategy within an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software testing or development experience with testing, coding and debugging procedures.
• Experience in automated tests using Selenium, Appium across UI/Service/Data layers and root cause analysis.
• Experience with SOAP/REST services and SOA architecture.

Responsibilities

• Create tools and frameworks with quality code to simplify testing scenarios.
• Design and develop test plans and cases based on functional and design specifications; execute and report results.
• Collaborate with development teams to deliver functionality on time with required quality.
• Act as test lead, planning work and assigning tasks to meet deadlines.
• Review and approve scripts, results and defects; ensure best practices and on-schedule testing.
• Focus on Web, Services/APIs and Database testing requirements.
• Participate in Agile project scoping, reviews and tests.
