Job summary

Connexity, a Taboola company, is seeking a QA Engineer in Los Angeles to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our ShopYourLikes platform. You will design test plans, implement automation, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations in an Agile setting to deliver robust software.

The role requires 3–5 years of QA experience, hands-on automation skills with Selenium/Cypress/Playwright, API testing with Postman, SQL validation, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance/Testing.
• Experience testing web-based and mobile applications in fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on with test plans, test cases, and regression testing.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium/Cypress/Playwright).
• Familiarity with API testing tools (Postman/Insomnia) and SQL validation.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and defect tracking tools (Jira, TestRail).
• Knowledge of web technologies (HTTP/REST) and Linux CLI.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain manual and automated test suites.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing of web apps and services.
• Help expand automated testing frameworks and regression suites.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to define test strategies.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
• Participate in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies to ensure quality.
• Analyze test results and communicate risks and recommendations.
• Support API, backend, and front-end testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in test processes and quality standards.
• Assist in root cause analysis of production issues when needed.
• Ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in QA.
