Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional QA experience.
• Experience in a professional software development environment.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Experience with testing methodologies and tools.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases, particularly MySQL.
• Able to work independently and collaborate with development teams.
• Proficiency with version control systems like Git.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Willingness to mentor junior QA engineers.

Responsibilities

• Dive into QA checks during development to ensure quality code reaches QA and production.
• Collaborate with engineers and PMs to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Craft structured test scenarios and scripts aligned with priorities.
• Create and execute tests and record findings.
• Participate in bug triage and release readiness reviews.
• Document and track bugs with attention to detail and drive resolution.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, schedules, and progress reports.
• Collaborate with business lines on test planning and results analysis.
• Manage time, reporting, monitoring, risk, and change management.
• Act as a quality champion and mentor teammates.
