Job summary

Ashby is seeking a QA Engineer to help test and strengthen our product. You'll split time between manual testing (about 70%) and automation (about 30%), with Playwright/end-to-end tests and a growing automation ecosystem. You’ll decide what to test, work with engineers, and broaden test coverage as the product scales.

We value practical QA, fast feedback, and close collaboration. You’ll have ownership over testing decisions and grow your automation skills in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on manual testing with a majority of hands-on work.
• Willingness to grow automation and write end-to-end tests.
• Ability to read and write code and understand others' code.

Responsibilities

• Decide what to test, when to test, and what areas to automate.
• Collaborate with engineers to reproduce and fix issues.
• Coordinate testing for larger feature launches and maintain Playwright suite.
