FFTAE is seeking a QA Engineer to join our international team. You will ensure quality, reliability, and performance across products, collaborating with software engineers, product managers, and designers throughout the development lifecycle.

You will contribute to test automation, CI/CD improvements, and release quality, shaping quality practices and ensuring a seamless user experience in an globally distributed environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of professional Software QA/testing experience.
• Hands-on test automation experience with Playwright (or Cypress/Selenium).
• Solid knowledge of functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and API testing.
• Experience using bug tracking/testing tools like ClickUp or Jira.
• Experience with monitoring/logging/error tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases across products using Playwright.
• Improve and expand automated testing framework and strategy.
• Build end-to-end, regression, integration, and API test suites.

Do you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy solving complex problems, and are passionate about delivering high-quality digital experiences?

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our international team. You will be employed by FFTAE, an IT company based in Serbia, and work directly with Sporting Rock, a Hamburg-based company developing innovative digital solutions for the sports and outdoor industry.

As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products. You'll work closely with software engineers, product managers, and designers throughout the development lifecycle, contributing to test automation, continuous improvement, and a seamless user experience.

What you'll do?

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases across our products using Playwright
• Continuously improve and expand our automated testing framework and testing strategy
• Build and maintain robust end-to-end, regression, integration, and API test suites
• Create comprehensive test plans and ensure test coverage aligns with product requirements
• Work closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers throughout the development lifecycle
• Identify, document, and help drive the resolution of software defects
• Investigate issues and validate fixes using logs, monitoring, and error tracking tools (e.g. Datadog, Dash0, or similar)
• Improve the reliability and maintainability of automated tests within our CI/CD pipelines
• Contribute to QA best practices, engineering processes, and release quality
• Advocate for quality throughout the entire software development lifecycle

What you'll bring?

Required

• Bachelor's degree in technical education related to software engineering
• 2+ professional experience in Software Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
• Hands‑on experience with test automation using Playwright (experience with Cypress, Selenium, or similar frameworks is also welcome)
• Solid understanding of functional, regression, integration, end‑to‑end, and API testing
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools such as ClickUp or Jira
• Experience working with monitoring, logging, or error tracking tools
• Understanding of Agile software development practices (Scrum or Kanban)
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
• Excellent communication skills in English (German is a plus)

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a microservice-based architecture.
• Familiarity with Go (Golang).
• Experience with observability platforms (Dash0, Datadog) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
