Job summary

Sevenpro is seeking a senior QA Engineer to own testing across backend, frontend, and low-level components in a fast-paced cybersecurity platform. You will drive test strategy, perform end-to-end validation, and collaborate with R&D to ensure feature quality.

You bring 6–8 years of experience, full-stack testing expertise, Windows/Linux knowledge, networking and security awareness, and automation scripting in Python/Bash/JS.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of professional QA experience in SDLC/Agile environments.
• Full-stack QA testing across backend, frontend, and API layers.
• Strong Windows and Linux operating system proficiency.
• Networking and security fundamentals including OSI, HTTP, DNS, IP, encryption.
• Experience with ESXi virtualization; Docker familiarity.
• Proficient with Jira for bug tracking and monitoring.
• Automation/scripting with Python, Bash, or JavaScript.

About you

You are a senior-level QA professional who excels in complex, fast-paced environments. You are a natural problem-solver who enjoys tracing root causes and investigating intricate system behaviors. You are self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable balancing high-level strategy with a hands-on approach to quality.

About the project

We are building a leading cybersecurity platform designed to protect and monitor digital environments across the entire development lifecycle. The system covers everything from low-level system engineering and backend to frontend UX/UI, operating in a technically diverse environment with rapid growth and high-frequency releases. We focus on a blend of 80% manual and 20% automated testing to ensure functional excellence, performance, and security across all components. With a fast-paced deployment cycle, maintaining high-speed integration and system reliability is critical to our mission.

Your areas of responsibility

• Full-Stack QA: Deliver high-quality testing for backend, frontend, and low-level system components at a fast deployment pace.
• Problem Solving: Apply an “out-of-the-box” approach to trace and troubleshoot complex bugs in system code and user interfaces.
• Strategic Testing: Define test strategies and handle end-to-end testing of new features.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Research and Development engineers to ensure seamless feature integration in an Agile environment.

Skills and requirements

• 6–8 years of professional experience as a QA Engineer with a deep understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Full-stack testing expertise, including advanced proficiency in backend, frontend, and client-server API testing.
• In-depth Operating System knowledge, with extensive experience in both Windows and Linux environments.
• Comprehensive Networking & Security acumen, including the OSI model, data protocols (HTTP, DNS, IP, FW), and encryption principles.
• Infrastructure & Virtualization experience, specifically with technologies such as ESXi and Docker.
• Expert command of industry tools, including Jira for bug tracking and Wireshark or tcpdump for network and application monitoring.
• Automation & Scripting capabilities, including test automation execution and proficiency in Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
• English proficiency (at least B1), ensuring effective communication within a technical team.
