Job summary

Vytwo is seeking a QA professional with domain experience in chromatography and mass spectrometry to join a hybrid team in Santa Clara, CA. Responsibilities include analyzing samples, tuning instruments, and driving quality through automated and manual tests.

The role requires knowledge of chromatography systems, CDS/LIMS/ELN/SDMS, and experience with test automation or programming. Collaboration with Engineering and Product teams is essential to deliver high-quality releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, CS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of QTOF, LC, or GC Chromatography experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with CDS, LIMS, ELN, or SDMS.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, JMeter, and Postman is a plus.
• Experience in test automation or programming (C#, Playwright, Groovy, PowerShell, REST API).

Responsibilities

• Perform sample analysis, data processing, and maintenance of chromatography systems.
• Prepare reagents for analysis and perform instrument tuning and calibration.
• Develop test designs and test cases for verification and validation of product functionality.
• Plan software solution tests and define/execute feature test cases.
• Investigate defects, report issues, and verify fixes.
• Assess software performance in an agile environment.
• Communicate test results and next steps with Engineering and Product Management.
• Validate software requirements and design specifications.
• Troubleshoot system issues with Support, R&D, and implementation teams.
• Develop QA estimates and assist in planning QA activities.
